Mayur Upadhyaya has extensive work experience in various leadership and management roles. Mayur is currently the CEO and Co-founder of Contxt since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Akamai Technologies from November 2019 to May 2021, where they served as the AVP Sales for Janrain/Customer Identity/CIAM. In this role, they had global responsibility for Janrain's sales and customer-facing teams, achieving a 106% execution of a $25m ARR growth target. Mayur also held the position of Senior Director, Product at Akamai Technologies from March 2019 to November 2019.

Before joining Akamai, they worked at Janrain, Inc. from May 2017 to April 2019, where they were the Vice President and Managing Director EMEA. Mayur was responsible for customer success and market development, achieving a 140% Net Renewal Rate/DRR in the region and 60% YoY ARR growth. Mayur also held the role of Vice President Customer Success from March 2014 to May 2017 and Senior Director, Customer Success from April 2013 to March 2014 at Janrain.

Prior to their tenure at Janrain, Mayur served as the Managing Director at Glow Labs from October 2008 to March 2013. Mayur began their career at Magic Lantern Productions in November 2000, where they held various roles including Chief Technology Officer. During their time at Magic Lantern, they led the technical specialism in video and interactivity, managing a team of 20 engineers.

Mayur started their professional journey as a Software Developer at Miller Insurance Group from July 1998 to September 1999.

Mayur Upadhyaya attended John Ruskin College from 1994 to 1996. The degree name and field of study for this period are unknown. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Business Information Technology at Staffordshire University from 1996 to 2000.
