Brendan Havenar-Daughton is an experienced energy management professional currently serving as Energy Manager for Contra Costa County since February 2022, overseeing diverse energy management needs across various operations. Prior experience includes roles such as Local Government Energy Efficiency Strategy Lead at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, where Brendan advanced energy efficiency for local governments in California, and serving on the Independent Citizens Bond Oversight Committee for Oakland Unified School District, leading the Ad Hoc Reporting Subcommittee. Brendan holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs with a focus on Global Environmental Politics from American University and a Master’s degree in Natural Resources and Sustainable Development from the United Nations Mandated University for Peace, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
