Babiche Klijs has extensive experience in social work and community coordination, currently serving as the Coordinator/Advisor for Volunteers in Tilburg at ContourdeTwern since March 2006. Responsibilities include coordinating Volunteer Points, guiding residents towards suitable volunteer opportunities, advising organizations, connecting needs within the Burenhulp project, and coaching volunteers. Previously, Babiche held the position of Social Worker at ContourdeTwern, focusing on welfare projects, community building, and women's coaching. Prior experience includes serving as Coordinator of the Broad School initiative and as a community worker at Dordtse Welzijnsorganisatie, where responsibilities included organizing school activities and supporting resident committees. Babiche Klijs holds a master's degree in cultural anthropology and development studies from Radboud University, obtained in 1998.
