Niels Jansen is an experienced operations and engineering professional, currently serving as Operations Manager at Contour Advanced Systems BV since January 2025, where responsibilities include project management, work preparation, procurement, assembly, and service and maintenance. Prior to this role, Niels held the position of Engineering Manager at Etteplan from July 2019 to January 2025, overseeing a team of 45 in mechanical, electrical, software, and process engineering while contributing to the technology roadmap as a member of the management team. Niels has also worked as a Software Program Manager at Tegema, now part of Etteplan, and held multiple roles at Bosch Rexroth, including Head of Application Engineering for Factory Automation. Niels began a career through internships and graduate trainee programs after obtaining a Master's degree in Systems & Control from Eindhoven University of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from HAN University of Applied Sciences.
