Samira Barouti is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience across various esteemed organizations. Currently at Continual since October 2022, Samira contributes to the development of a platform enabling users to create AI copilots for SaaS applications. Previously at Red Hat, as a Principal Software Engineer, Samira led initiatives to enhance the Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS and managed Hypershift clusters, also supporting Kubernetes operator development during the tenure as a Senior Software Engineer. At Deloitte Canada, Samira served as a Cloud Security Lead, while at CloudOps, the role of Cloud Architect emphasized public and private cloud infrastructure consulting. Prior experience includes significant contributions as Technical Team Lead at Ericsson, where Samira focused on platform robustness and backend system development, alongside academic roles at Concordia University, which included serving as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant. Samira holds a Master’s degree in Information System Security from Concordia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
