Maximilian Schoen serves as a Lecturer at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Regensburg since October 2020, teaching courses on "Introduction to Cloud Computing" and "Design and Operations of Data Centers." Concurrently, Maximilian has held various director-level positions at Continental since April 2008, focusing on Cloud Platform & Solution Consulting, Data Center & SAP-Basis, Data Center Operations, and Network & Voice Services. Previous experience includes leadership roles in IT infrastructure at Siemens VDO AG / Siemens AG from October 1998 to March 2008, where responsibilities covered IT Infrastructure Servicemanagement, Data Center, UNIX/Oracle Services, and Network Services. Earlier roles included Senior Consultant at REWAG and IT Consultant at Telenet GmbH Kommunikationssysteme. Maximilian Schoen earned a Diplom-Ingenieur (Master of Science) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich from 1990 to 1995.
