Yakita Turner is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and operations management. Currently serving as a Senior Strategist for the SVP of Operations at Consumers Energy since March 2018, Yakita has previously held the role of Operations Performance Manager. Prior to this, Yakita worked at Ford Motor Company from July 2014 to March 2018 as a Manufacturing Industrial Engineer. Earlier experience includes various positions at Boeing from September 2008 to July 2014, such as Quality Engineer, Industrial Engineer II, and Business Planning Analyst, focusing on areas like material cost management, estimate at completion, cash forecasting, and timephasing. Yakita holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan College of Engineering.
