Steve Downer is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles at Amazon and GE. Currently serving as Vice President and General Manager at Amazon since December 2013, Steve oversees multi-billion dollar categories such as Consumer Electronics and Amazon Business, demonstrating expertise in end-to-end P&L management. In addition to this role, Steve contributes as Vice Chair and Executive Board Member for the Consumer Technology Association, participating in both the Compensation and Audit Committees. Prior experience at GE includes various general management roles where Steve led global products in residential and light commercial markets, with a strong focus on sales, marketing, and product development. Steve holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
