Shawn Wolbert currently serves as Advisory Council Chairperson at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, providing insights on consumer financial products and services from the perspective of credit unions. As President/Chief Executive Officer of GHS Federal Credit Union since March 2021, Wolbert leads a team dedicated to serving members across three counties in New York. Previously, as President/CEO of Financial Health Federal Credit Union, strategic planning and operational enhancement were core responsibilities. Wolbert has held key roles such as Senior Vice President of Finance & Administration at the League of Southeastern Credit Unions and SVP Lending & Operations Solutions/CFO at the Michigan Credit Union League & Affiliates, where significant contributions were made to the credit union sector. Early career experience includes roles in financial management and auditing, complemented by an MBA from Spring Arbor University and a Bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University.
