Piotr Serafin is a Solutions Architect at Consult Red since January 2023, previously serving as Chief Software Engineer, Technical Delivery Manager, and Embedded SME at EPAM Systems from September 2016 to December 2022. In this role, Piotr was involved in the CPE Architecture Team for a significant European cable operator, focusing on architectural designs and proof of concepts related to EFL rendering, Chromecast control, containerization mechanisms, and RDK Services. Prior to EPAM Systems, Piotr was the Deputy Head and then Head of the Consumer Devices Software Department at CYFROWY POLSAT from April 2013 to August 2016, managing the entire product development life cycle of various set-top box models. Piotr also led the opening of a new R&D office in Wroclaw during this time. Earlier experience includes a role at TechniSat Digital GmbH from November 2008 to January 2013, where Piotr designed middleware components for set-top boxes and developed automation frameworks for testing. Piotr holds an engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
