Fabian Mohammadzadeh is a software engineer currently working at Zoox since June 2024. Prior experience includes roles at Google from March 2022 to June 2024, where significant contributions were made to YouTube Studio's metrics and monitoring initiatives, as well as the development of monitoring solutions for live streams. As a senior software engineer at Cruise Automation from October 2018 to February 2022, Fabian Mohammadzadeh enhanced autonomous vehicle safety through risk models addressing occluded vehicles and pedestrians. Earlier roles involved research positions at North Carolina State University, where a real-time human activity recognition algorithm was developed, and at the University of Miami, where work focused on antenna modeling and data acquisition. Fabian Mohammadzadeh holds a PhD and an MS in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University, as well as a BS in Physics and Microbiology & Immunology from the University of Miami.
