Ravi Shahani is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the aluminum industry, currently serving as the Chief Engineer of Additive Manufacturing at Constellium since July 2008, where responsibilities include collaborating with customers and partners to advance aluminum laser powder bed fusion components. Prior roles at Constellium included Innovation Manager and Extrusion and Automotive Structures R&D Program Manager, focusing on R&D portfolio management and new alloy development. Ravi's career began at Pechiney from 1991 to 2002 in various R&D positions, followed by a role as Automotive Development Manager at Alcan from 2002 to 2008, where efforts centered on the introduction of aluminum automotive body sheets. Ravi holds a PhD and Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy & Materials Science from the University of Cambridge.
