Liz Barbour is a seasoned educator and business development specialist with extensive experience in curriculum development and instructional strategies. Currently, Liz serves as a Business Development Specialist at Constellation since July 2022. Prior to this role, Liz was a Fourth Grade Language Arts and Social Studies Teacher, as well as a Fourth and Fifth Grade Math Teacher at Peabody School, where significant contributions included designing a year-long curriculum focused on underrepresented historical perspectives and adapting instructional methods for virtual learning. Additional experiences include teaching at Fluvanna County Public Schools and Crozet Elementary School, mentoring pre-service teachers, and assisting students with diverse needs. Liz holds a Gifted Education Endorsement and has earned a Master of Teaching in Elementary Education from the University of Virginia, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion/Religious Studies.
