Aaron Robben is a seasoned energy trading professional with extensive experience in real-time trading and portfolio management. Currently serving as a Senior Real Time Trader at EDF Trading since June 2023, Aaron previously held the role of Senior Trader at NextEra Energy Resources where responsibilities included resource management across multiple regional markets and natural gas analysis. With a significant tenure at The Energy Authority from 2008 to 2020, Aaron negotiated bilateral energy transactions, managing a portfolio of 30 GW of generation. Earlier experience as a Portfolio Manager and Senior Trader at ACES involved optimizing strategies for major cooperatives in the Southeast, overseeing a combined demand and generation of 12 GW. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Kansas State University.
