Scott Burger has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Scott is currently working as a Senior Transportation Engineer at CONSOR Engineers since March 2022. Previously, they worked as a Civil Engineering Professional at CDOT Division of Mtce & Ops from December 2018 to February 2022. Prior to that, they served as an ITS Engineer at CDOT ITS Branch from July 2012 to December 2018. Scott also worked as a Senior Transportation Engineer at David Evans and Associates, Inc. from November 2006 to July 2012. Before that, they held the position of Traffic and Transportation Planning Manager at J F Sato and Associates for five years. Additionally, they worked as a Bridge Engineering Consultant at TCB / JFSA from 1999 to 2001, and as a Cost Estimating Engineer and Bridge Engineer at CDOT from 1989 to 1999.

Scott Burger attended Cherry Creek High School from 1979 to 1983. Scott then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at CU Boulder from 1983 to 1987. After completing their undergraduate studies, Scott went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from CU Denver between 1997 and 2002.
