Alex Bargmeyer has extensive work experience in civil engineering. They started their career at Hydrometrics, Inc. in 2003 as a Staff Engineer and worked there until 2006. From 2007 to 2016, they worked for Murray, Smith & Associates as an Engineer. In 2016, they joined CAPITAL Engineering & Consulting, LLC and E-PUR as a Civil Engineer and Project Civil Engineer respectively. They also worked at Janet Turner Engineering as a Civil Engineer from 2017 to 2018. In 2017, they joined Akana as a Civil Engineer and then moved to Murraysmith in 2019 as a Civil Engineer. Currently, they are working as a Professional Engineer at CONSOR Engineers since 2022.

Alex Bargmeyer earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman from 1998 to 2001. Alex then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from the same university from 2001 to 2003. In terms of certifications, they became a Professional Engineer in June 2008 through the Oregon State Board of Examiners for Engineering and Land Surveying.
