Adam Crafts has a diverse work experience in engineering. Adam started as an Engineering Intern at the Oregon Department of Transportation in 1997, where they worked as a construction inspector on major projects. In 1999, they interned at Freightliner, assisting with environmental reports and waste water treatment facility improvements. In 2000, they were an Engineering Intern at LSI Logic, where they assisted with waste water treatment expansion projects. Adam then joined Wallis Engineering in 2001 as a Senior Project Manager, leading a team on various infrastructure projects. In 2016, they became a Principal Engineer and Project Manager at Murraysmith, which was later acquired by CONSOR Engineers, and they continue their role there. In their current position, they focus on utility projects and pump stations.

Adam Crafts has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Engineering from Oregon State University, which they obtained from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, from 1996 to 1998, they attended Lane Community College for a Pre-Engineering Transfer Program with OSU, focusing on Engineering. Adam also participated in an Exchange Program with OSU at Denmark Technical University from 2000 to 2001, where they continued their studies in Environmental Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Adam has acquired several certifications including CIPP Inspector from the North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT), ODOT General Inspector from the Oregon Department of Transportation, ODOT Pavement Inspector from the Oregon Department of Transportation, and Pipe Line Assessment and Coding Inspector from the North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT).
