Mark Sharpless is a seasoned professional in network engineering with extensive experience in managing engineering responsibilities across various telecommunications properties. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Network Engineering at Consolidated Communications since October 2014, Mark oversees project planning, design, and implementation to support voice, data, and video services in several states, including Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, and the greater Pittsburgh and Kansas City areas. Previously, Mark held leadership roles in broadband and video network engineering at Enventis and HickoryTech, managing access and video networks in Southern Minnesota and Iowa. Mark's career also includes engineering and supervisory roles at GTE and Contel, where responsibilities encompassed the engineering and design of telecommunications facilities, as well as contract negotiation for right of way agreements. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Purdue University.
