Dr. Dave Gustafson is an adjunct research faculty member at Washington State University, specializing in sustainable food systems and human nutrition. They earned a B.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University and the University of Washington, respectively. With over 30 years of experience in private industry, including roles at Monsanto and Shell, Dave has also served as the founding director of the Center for Integrated Modeling of Sustainable Agriculture and Nutrition Security. In addition to their academic roles, they are involved in various consulting and nonprofit initiatives, including founding Real Whirlwind, LLC, and the St. Louis Reconciliation Network.
