Helle Merethe Svaneborg has extensive work experience in various roles within the hospitality and events industry. Helle is currently a Senior Account Manager at CONSENSUS since October 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Consultant at GainingEdge starting from January 2020.

From 2017 to 2020, Helle served as a Member of the International Board of Directors at Meeting Professionals International. During this time, they were responsible for implementing ethical guidelines for medical conferences and worked closely with Danish medical societies.

Helle'sprevious experience includes being the Director of Conference Services at Atrium Copenhagen from June 2017 to August 2019. In this role, they focused on developing the business area and improving processes, growth, and professionalism. Helle also handled budgeting, sponsorships, and exhibition for conferences and symposiums organized for Danish and Nordic medical associations.

Before that, they worked as the Exhibition & Conference Director at DLi A/S / Danish Pharmaceutical Information from October 2014 to June 2017.

Helle has also held leadership positions in MPI Denmark, where they served as the Chair of the Host Destination Committee for the MPI 2016 European Meetings & Events Conference (EMEC), as well as the President from April 2014 to June 2015. Helle has worked on reinventing the annual conference through the Danish Meeting Design concept, Meetovation.

Helle'scareer began with roles as Promotion Manager at Atout France from January 2008 to September 2014, and at Tahiti Tourisme from February 2005 to December 2007. Previously, they served as a Project Assistant at NHG A/S from September 2004 to December 2004. Helle began their career as a Front Desk Manager at Hotel d'Europe, Avignon - France from June 2001 to July 2004.

Helle Merethe Svaneborg attended Hotel & Restaurant School Copenhagen from 1999 to 2001, where they pursued a bachelor's degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management. During this time, they gained expertise in the field of study related to hotel and restaurant management. In 2014, Helle Merethe Svaneborg engaged in a short-term program at Meetovator focused on Meeting and Event Planning, although no degree was obtained from this experience. Lastly, from 1994 to 1997, they attended N. Zahles Gymnasieskole and completed their baccalaureate. Notably, they specialized in French and English at an advanced level during their years at the gymnasieskole.
