William Aucant is an accomplished professional in architecture and regional governance, currently serving as the Founder of Facili'Cité since June 2023 and as a Conseiller Régional des Pays de la Loire since July 2021, focusing on territory, rurality, environment, ecological transition, and digital infrastructure. Aucant has been a member of the Convention Citoyenne Pour Le Climat since October 2019 and has held various architectural roles, including Project Architect at Plattform Berlin and Architect at OKI-Architekten. Aucant co-founded the architectural collective bau15 and contributed to educational initiatives at the École Spéciale d'Architecture. Academic qualifications include a Doctorate in architecture from École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Paris-La Villette, among other degrees in architecture.
