Cathy Bleecker is a retired music educator with extensive experience in teaching various levels of music, including choral and general music for grades TK-8. Since June 2019, Cathy Bleecker has been self-employed, following a tenure as a piano and voice teacher at Tunelark and a music educator with Music for Minors. Prior roles include serving as choral director and music teacher at Adda Clevenger School, general music teacher at Rhythm & Moves, Inc., and K-8 music teacher at Sea Crest School. Cathy Bleecker's early career involved teaching elementary music in the Bellevue School District and choral music at high school and university levels. Educationally, Cathy Bleecker has pursued advanced degrees, including work toward a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Choral Music from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, a Master of Music in Conducting from Western Michigan University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Theatre Arts from the University of Redlands. Additional studies include psychology at Antioch University Seattle and a high school diploma from Las Lomas High School.
