Allison Gister is an experienced professional in grants management, currently serving as the Director of Grants and Knowledge Management at the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation since June 2014. In this role, Allison oversees the grants management team and collaborates with Foundation leadership to implement best practices in grantmaking. Prior to this, Allison held various positions at the Annenberg Foundation from October 2005 to June 2014, including Grants Manager, where responsibilities included managing grantmaking processes, IRS compliance, staff training, and data analysis. Earlier experiences include roles as Grants Specialist, Grants Associate, and Grants Assistant, as well as event coordination at the Jewish Free Loan Association. Allison holds a Master of Science in Social Entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Spanish from Washington University in St. Louis.
