Rajneesh Vig joined the Connecticut College Board of Trustees in 2019.
Vig is a Managing Director in the Global Credit Platform at BlackRock, Inc. and President and COO of BlackRock-TCP Capital Corp. (NASDAQ: TCP) an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of BlackRock. Prior to joining BlackRock in August 2018, Vig was a managing partner at Tennenbaum Capital Partners (TCP), where he was also Chairman of the Investment Committee and a member of the Management Committee. TCP with more than $9 billion in committed capital was acquired by BlackRock in 2018. Prior to TCP, Vig held roles within investment banking, debt capital markets, and the structured solutions groups at Deutsche Bank Securities from 1999 through 2006.
He currently chairs BlackRock Private Credit’s Investment Committee, is a member of the Credit Oversight Committee and serves on the Board of Directors of TCPC and Edmentum.
Vig graduated magna cum laude from Connecticut College in 1993 with a B.A. in economics. He went on to earn his M.B.A. in finance from New York University in 1994.
