Ernesto Flores is currently a Diversity Fellow at Connecticut College, where involvement includes serving on the Italian Student Advisory Board, functioning as a Peer Tutor, and participating as an Honor Council Member. In addition to academic commitments, Ernesto contributes as a Student Volunteer at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital and Beechwood Post Acute, Transitional Care & Long Term Care. Previous internships at MD Anderson Cancer Center were completed twice during the summers of 2021 and 2022, alongside a summer internship with the American Chemical Society: Project SEED in 2020, which transitioned to a virtual format due to COVID-19. Ernesto holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Connecticut College, along with an Associate of Science in Natural Sciences from Houston Community College, and a High School Diploma from North Houston Early College High School.
