Naveed Hussain is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in neonatal care and research. Serving as the Director of Neonatal Research at Connecticut Children's Medical Center since July 1994, Naveed Hussain leads clinical and translational research in neonatology while also providing clinical care as an Attending Neonatologist in tertiary level NICUs in Hartford and Farmington, Connecticut. In addition, Naveed Hussain holds the position of Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Connecticut Health Center, where responsibilities include clinical neonatology, clinical research, translational research, and the education and training of residents and fellows. Naveed Hussain earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine after completing a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Osmania University.
