Ruth Yu-Owen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and management roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Chairperson at Aboitiz Upgrade Solar, Inc. since August 2023, Ruth has also been the President of Upgrade Energy Philippines Inc. since February 2017 and a Co-Founder of Connected Women since September 2016. Additionally, Ruth holds the position of Board of Trustee and Vice-Chair at Ateneo de Zamboanga University, a role undertaken since April 2018, and has been the President of Philcarbon since January 2008. Educationally, Ruth Yu-Owen earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Ateneo de Zamboanga University between 1982 and 1986.
