Patrick Scherer is currently a wealth manager at Congress Wealth Management. Prior to this, they worked as an assistant vice president and subject matter expert in financial planning software at Wilmington Trust from November 2018 to May 2020. Patrick's expertise lies in retirement/cash flow planning, estate planning, insurance planning, and income tax planning. From January 2017 to October 2018, they worked as a banking officer and senior wealth planning analyst at Wilmington Trust. From August 2015 to December 2016, they worked as a non-officer wealth planning analyst at Wilmington Trust. From June 2014 to July 2015, they worked as a prime finance product control analyst at Citi. And from June 2013 to August 2013, they worked as a summer analyst at Citi.

Patrick Scherer attended Canisius College where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance. Patrick also attended Pittsford Sutherland High School.
