Katey Lindley has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Katey started their career at Sidley & Austin in 1981 as a Paralegal Supervisor and Director of Recruitment. Katey then transitioned into the education sector, holding roles such as Director of Admissions and Marketing at Kadima Independant Day School, Director of Education at Congregation Dor Hadash, and Program Coordinator at Jewish Family Service of San Diego. In 2016, they became a Program Manager of Adult Jewish Education at Lawrence Family JCC. Following that, they served as the Director of Jewish Education and Teen Engagement at Tifereth Israel Synagogue and currently holds the position of Director of Caring Community at Congregation Beth Israel.

Katey Lindley attended UC Irvine from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature.
