Sunny Oates possesses extensive professional experience in administrative and event management roles. Currently serving as an Executive Assistant to the CTO and previously to the SVP of Engineering at Confluent since May 2022, Sunny Oates has also held positions at Google from April 2018 to April 2022 as an Administrative Business Partner across various departments. Prior experience includes the role of Advanced Solutions Lab Site Manager at Nelson Staffing and various event planning positions at Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport from 2012 to 2017, where responsibilities included managing events and overseeing concierge services. Sunny Oates began the hospitality career as a Catering Corporate Management Trainee at Hyatt Regency Santa Clara and has completed internships and roles in guest services at other notable establishments. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from Northern Arizona University.
