Alexey Leonov-Vendrovskiy is a Principal Engineer at Confluent, focusing on query processing in streams since September 2022. Prior to this role, Alexey was a Software Engineer at Google from September 2014 to September 2022, contributing significantly to GCP BigQuery and being one of the founding engineers of the BI Engine, with responsibilities in query planning, execution, performance, vectorized runtime, and metadata.
