Yana Rolnik

Director Of Software Engineering at Confluence Technologies

Yana Rolnik has over 20 years of professional experience in various roles. Currently, Yana serves as the Director of Software Engineering at Confluence, a position they started in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Compliance Solutions Strategies for eight years, starting in 2014, where they held the role of Head of Development Process Management/SDLC. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of IT projects across all company products and implementing standardized processes for the software development life cycle.

Before joining Compliance Solutions Strategies, Yana worked at Advise Technologies as a Development Process Manager from 2014 to 2018. Yana also served as an Associate Art Specialist and IT Director at Shapiro Auctions from 2012 to 2014.

Yana's earlier experience includes working at JPMorgan Chase as a Vice President, where they managed development projects and served as an IT build lead and project/team manager. Yana started their career as a Computer Programmer at UBS in 1997.

Additionally, Yana has gained valuable experience as a Curratorial Fellow at the Neuberger Museum of Arts from 2010 to 2011. Throughout their career, Yana has demonstrated a strong ability to lead teams, manage projects, gather requirements, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Yana Rolnik obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from New York University, completing their studies from 1993 to 1997. Yana then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Art History at Purchase College, SUNY, although the specific start and end years for this program are not provided. Currently, they are enrolled at Purchase College, SUNY, where they are pursuing another Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Entrepreneurship in the Arts. This program, which started in 2021, includes a capstone project centered around the creation of an NFT Gallery/Marketplace and is expected to be completed in 2025.
