Clare McCaffery began their career in 1994 as a Sales Manager for Lombard Business Finance. In 1997, they moved to GE Capital as a Regional Sales Director, where they advised and provided a range of business finance options to SMEs with turnover greater than £30m. In 2001, they became Senior Sales Manager for Callcredit plc, where they combined data with a suite of software and analytical capabilities to help businesses and consumers make more informed, confident decisions. In 2004, they moved to Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO) as a Client Partner, where they maintained and increased revenues from existing and new clients across EMEA. In 2007, they became Sales and Marketing Director for Alchemy Partners LLP, where they managed commercial teams, was responsible for strategic banking clients, and established and expanded the sales function outside of the client relationship model. In 2011, they moved to VisualDNA as Managing Director, where they were the leading provider of alternative data for consumer credit risk assessment worldwide and delivered high quality data at scale for consumer/SME risk decisioning. In 2020, they became Co-Founder & Chief Revenue Officer for CONFIRMU, and in 2021, they became Chief Commercial Officer for DirectID.
Clare McCaffery attended the University of Liverpool from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained their MBA in Business. Clare then attended The University of Law from 2010 to 2011, where they obtained their Graduate Diploma in Law. Lastly, they attended the University of Leeds from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained their BA (Hons) in Business Administration.
