Melissa Armstrong currently serves as Vice President of Business Development at ConferenceDirect, a position held since October 2019. Additionally, Melissa has been self-employed as a Convention and Meeting Planner/Event Producer since August 2019. Previous roles include Sr. Manager of Events at Bethesda Softworks, where responsibilities included overseeing QuakeCon and other large-scale events, and Executive Producer at both Mark Joseph Creative Development Group and EventWorks, Inc., focusing on high-profile events and productions. Earlier experience includes a Production Coordinator role at Bourgeois Productions and a Community Relations Coordinator position at Capital District Sports, Inc. Melissa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University at Albany.
