Michaela Sand is an experienced EU Policy Advisor at Svenskt Näringsliv since October 2021, focusing on international and EU collaboration to enhance competitiveness for Swedish businesses, specifically in internal market issues and digital policy. Prior roles include serving as a Departmental Secretary at Regeringskansliet, where responsibility centered on the National Regional Fund Program, and as an Investigator at the Swedish Tax Agency, tackling international tax evasion. Michaela’s career also comprises positions at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, engaging with trade policy and the EU Single Market, and various roles at law firms and tax agencies, illustrating a strong foundation in legal and tax matters. Michaela holds a Master of Laws from Stockholm University and has pursued further studies at KU Leuven and the University of Mannheim.
