Adam Hicks has dedicated their career to making sure employees are safe at work. Adam started out as a safety training and improvement manager for the government of Saskatchewan. In this role, they led a team of 16 employees across the province to ensure all employees made it home safe every day. Adam was responsible for the training and safety needs for approximately 1,400 employees. This included everything from orientation of new employees to OH&S training to heavy duty equipment training to incident investigations and safety improvements.
In 2014, Hicks became the manager of contracts and professional services for the government of Saskatchewan. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of the government's contract management process. Adam also worked with a variety of professional service providers to ensure that they delivered quality services to the government.
In 2012, Hicks became the capital planning coordinator for the government of Saskatchewan. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of the government's capital plan. Adam also worked with a variety of stakeholders to ensure that the plan met their needs.
Hicks has also been a franchisee entrepreneur with College Pro. In this role, they were responsible for running their own franchise business. Adam also worked with a team of student employees to provide quality services to customers.
Hicks is currently a board member at Conexus Credit Union Limited. In this role, they are responsible for providing oversight and guidance to the credit union. Adam also works with a variety of stakeholders to
Adam Hicks has a BBA from the University of Regina with a management major. Adam also has a certificate of economics from the University of Regina. Adam has a high school diploma from Lumsden with honours. Adam is also certified in first aid, CPR, and AED from St. John Ambulance Canada.
