Melinda Bender is an experienced Elementary Library Media Specialist currently employed at Conestoga Valley School District since September 2018. Prior to this role, Melinda served as an Elementary School Library Facilitator at Reading School District from July 2007 to September 2018, where responsibilities included providing professional development for elementary librarians and facilitating topics like Maker-space and coding in the library. Melinda's earlier experience includes a position as a Teacher Librarian, delivering class instruction on literature appreciation and technology use, and a long-term substitute librarian role at Kutztown Area School District. Melinda holds a Master of Education in Instructional Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus on Library Science, both from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.
