Christopher Chang, P.Eng. has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Christopher began their career as a Senior Manager at KPMG LLP in 2003, where they established and developed a regional engineering practice. Christopher then joined Deloitte LLP as a Senior Manager, leading engagements in the automotive and industrial sectors and providing CRA review preparation and feedback.

In 2007, Christopher founded The Defacto Group Inc. and served as the Managing Director, growing the company's revenue by identifying and seeding new verticals and expanding into underserved sectors. Christopher also established key client relationships and served as the main contact for the company.

From 2013 to 2015, Christopher co-founded Donation Farm Inc., where they architected a charity-focused CRM scalable to 5,000+ users. Christopher also developed pricing models and sales channel strategies for the company.

In 2016, Christopher joined MNP as a Senior Manager, with regional responsibilities for workload balancing, A/R, P&L, and business development. Christopher led key client relationships and partnered with prospects to address company-specific challenges in various sectors.

In 2019, Christopher took on multiple advisory roles at Innovation Guelph, Business Centre Guelph Wellington, and Rocketworx Labs, where they provided expertise and mentorship to start-ups in various stages of development.

Most recently, in 2021, Christopher became a Vacation Rental Owner at Airbnb, running a vacation rental and applying pricing strategies, UX feedback, procurement principles, and resource management.

Throughout their career, Christopher has demonstrated a strong ability to identify business opportunities, establish and maintain client relationships, and provide expertise and guidance to companies in various industries.

Christopher Chang, P.Eng. holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, which they obtained from Queen's University between 1993 and 1997. In 1997 to 1999, they furthered their education at George Brown College, where they completed a Certificate in PLC Programming.

Currently, Christopher is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Consulting Leadership at the University of Fredericton. This program began in 2021 and is expected to be completed in 2024.

In terms of certifications, Christopher Chang holds the designation of Professional Engineer (PE) from Professional Engineers Ontario, which they obtained in February 2003. Christopher also has a certification as a Mountaineer at the Trailblazer Rank from Salesforce, although the specific month and year of attainment are not provided.
