Liz Beekman is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in clinical training and business intelligence. Currently serving as a Credentialed Trainer Fellow at Cone Health since October 2014, Liz specializes in Epic Credentialed Training for Clinical Documentation, teaching new hire RNs, nurse techs, and secretaries. Prior experience includes consulting for the Carolinas HealthCare System's Dickson Advanced Analytics Group, enhancing organ transplant selection workflows and generating database reports. Liz has held nursing roles at Washington Hospital Center, demonstrating leadership as a Charge Nurse, and has a diverse background in marketing and technical support, earning multiple accolades during tenures at Information Technology and Technical Sales, Prime Computer, GTE Telnet, and RCA PRICE Systems. Liz holds a Professional Science Masters in Health Informatics from the University of North Carolina Charlotte and degrees in Psychology and Nursing from Drexel University, Earlham College, and Marymount University.
