James Hoang currently serves as VP of Power Operations at Conduit Power, having joined the company in September 2023. Prior experience includes a role in Asset Optimization at Hunt Energy Network from August 2021 to September 2023. Prior to that, James worked in Portfolio Management at EDF Energy North America between August 2020 and August 2021, and spent over a decade at Oxy in various positions including Power Trader and Portfolio Management from August 2007 to June 2020. Additional earlier roles include Power Trader and Asset Optimization at Direct Energy in 2007 and Portfolio Management, Power Trader, and Power Scheduler at Fulcrum Power from April 2005 to April 2007. James holds an MBA from Texas A&M University and a degree in Finance and Management from the University of Houston.
