Alex Siegel has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 1987, they worked as a Broker/Lead Broker at Boston Computer Exchange, where they were responsible for sales, sales management, account development, marketing, and promotions in the aftermarket/used computer systems market. In 2000, they joined Beringer, LLC as the Vice President of Operations, leading a successful turnaround initiative that improved productivity, on-time delivery, lead times, inventory management, staffing requirements, and cash conversion cycle. Alex then worked as a Manager at A.T. Kearney, leading projects in Russia, the Czech Republic, and the platinum mining industry, resulting in business growth, cost savings, and process improvements. From 2001 to 2020, they worked as the Principal at Applied Analytics, leading market segmentation, new product review, and turnaround projects for financial software and reporting companies. In 2015, they joined Emerson Network Power as the Country Divestiture Lead & General Manager, managing spin-off activities in the Philippines and achieving process and efficiency improvements. Alex then became the Perfect Execution Leader for the Asia World Area at Emerson, responsible for driving growth and profitability improvements through customer understanding, product design, process planning, and execution. In 2016, they joined Conax Technologies as the Vice President of Global Operations & Asia Sales, overseeing international sales, semiconductor operations, and collaboration efforts. Alongside their other roles, they also worked as an Associated Consultant at John Clements Consultants, Inc. Mr. Siegel's experience spans across diverse industries and showcases their expertise in operations management, strategy development, sales, and process improvement.
Alex Siegel attended Granby Memorial High School from 1983 to 1987. Following high school, from 1987 to 1991, they pursued an undergraduate degree in Economics at the University of Chicago. From 1985 until 1987, they also attended Deerfield Academy for their high school education. Finally, from 1996 to 1998, Alex Siegel enrolled at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management to pursue a dual-degree program earning an MMM degree, which combines an MBA and Masters in Manufacturing/Engineering Management. The field of study for their MMM degree focused on Operations, Manufacturing, and Engineering.
