Sunita Umesh currently serves as the Managing Partner at UCC & Associates LLP since January 2005, focusing on the conversion of Indian GAAP Accounts to IFRS compliance and overseeing quarterly SOX compliance. Additionally, Sunita holds the position of Chairperson of the Audit Committee and Independent Director at Tech Mahindra Group Company since January 2015. Previous experience includes serving as an Independent SOX Consultant for Kadimi Tools from 2005 to 2012, and as an Independent Consultant for JCB from 2004 to 2011. Earlier in the career, Sunita worked as a Manager in Assurance at PwC from June 1995 to December 2004, managing a diverse client portfolio, and held the position of Assistant Manager at A F Ferguson & Co from April 1994 to May 1995, with a focus on auditing for significant groups such as Eicher and Shriram. Sunita is a qualified Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, a Certified Public Accountant in the USA, and holds an Insolvency Professional designation from IBBI since January 2017.
