Betty Romero is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in aging advocacy, economic empowerment, and strategic advisory roles. Currently serving as a member of the Innovation & Social Impact Advisory Council for the American Society on Aging and co-chairing the Care Economy Committee for the Women's Economic Empowerment Advisory Council under the Comptroller of Maryland, Romero also held the position of Director and Performance Improvement Officer at the Maryland Department of Aging, where notable initiatives included the development of the Longevity Ready Maryland Initiative.
