Edward Garcia currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Comprehensive Community Action Program, focusing on empowering communities challenged by poverty. As the Library Director at Cranston Public Library since December 2008, Edward also held roles as Technology Coordinator and Information Access Librarian. Edward's extensive involvement with the American Library Association includes being a member of the Philanthropic Advisory Group, an Executive Board Member, and a Councilor-at-Large. Additional experience includes serving as a Campaign Advisor for EveryLibrary, a Director-at-Large for the Reference and User Services Association, and a Board Member for the Library Board of Rhode Island.
