Liang Zhao currently serves as the VP for Metabolomics at Complete Omics Inc. since June 2023. Prior to this role, Liang was a Faculty Research Associate at the Bloomberg-Kimmel Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from February 2017 to June 2023, leading method development for metabolomics in tumor and immuno-metabolism studies, particularly utilizing stable isotope labeling techniques. Liang also contributed as a Staff Research Analyst and Research Associate at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health from August 2011 to February 2017, where the metabolomics platform was established and operated. Initial experience includes an internship at Agilent Technologies, focusing on metabolite analysis and database development. Liang earned a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of the Pacific and a B.S. in Biochemistry from East China University of Science and Technology.
