Kevin Cawthra, CA, CPA, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Compassion Canada since November 2022, where responsibilities include Board reporting, regulatory compliance, risk management, and financial planning. Previously, Kevin held the position of VP of Business & Communications at The Gideons International In Canada | ShareWord Global from August 2013 to October 2022, overseeing strategic direction, communications, and fiscal responsibilities. Earlier in their career, Kevin was Vice-President Finance & Operations at Ambrose University College, contributing to strategic planning and financial management, and worked as a Senior Auditor & Assurance at Ernst & Young LLP, where Kevin led audit teams and obtained a Chartered Accountant designation. Kevin earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University.
