Josephine Xu is a highly accomplished economist with extensive experience at Compass Lexecon, serving as Senior Vice President and previously as Vice President and Senior Economist since August 2017. Prior to this role, Josephine contributed as a Project Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, overseeing nine undergraduate research projects focused on healthcare policies from September 2016 to June 2017, and worked as a Teaching Assistant for various upper undergraduate, master, and Ph.D. courses from August 2012 to May 2016. Josephine's academic background includes a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Economics from The University of British Columbia.
