Kirby Unti was the Bishop of the Northwest Washington Synod from May 2013 to July 2019. Kirby is currently the Director at Compass Housing Alliance.

Kirby Unti has a Masters of Divinity from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary with a focus in Pastoral Studies/Counseling. Kirby also has a BS from the University of Washington in Public Address. Kirby's high school education was completed at Inglemoor High School.
