Elizabeth Edkin is an experienced educator currently serving as an English as a Second Language Teacher at Compass Community Schools since July 2022. Prior to this role, Elizabeth contributed to the Achievement School District as an Achievers Summer Learning Camp Teacher and served as an Elementary School Teacher at Shelby County Schools, where responsibilities included being the 3rd Grade Level Chair and Instructional Content School Lead for ELA. Elizabeth has a background as a Teach For America Corps Member and has worked in various capacities, including as a paraprofessional and a digital/social media intern during their academic tenure at Penn State University. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Penn State University and a minor in Spanish Language, Art, and Mexican Culture from Universidad Iberoamericana.
