James Lambiasi, AIA, is a distinguished architect and educator with extensive experience in the field of architecture. As the Principal of James Lambiasi Architect, a multi-disciplinary design firm in Tokyo since November 2016, emphasis is placed on bilingual architectural services that integrate architecture with landscape, urban context, and interiors. In addition to professional practice, James Lambiasi has served as an Adjunct Instructor at Temple University Japan and Shibaura Institute of Technology since 2013 and 2006, respectively, as well as at Hosei University from 2012 to 2016. Previous professional roles include Principal at Lambiasi + Hayashi Architects and Design Director at Jun Mitsui & Associates / Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects Japan. James Lambiasi holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Virginia.
